Razorback Musk Turtle Sternotherus carinatus

Adult size: 12-15cm long
Lifespan: Average 20 years but can double this!
Diet: They’re omnivores eating turtle food, live foods and aquatic plants like edola and duckweed. 
Housing: 2ft aquarium for one adult, 3ft for two with a turtle platform and a basking spot with UVB lighting 
Notes: A small and easy to care for species of turtle they get their name from their unique shell. They spend most of their time walking along the bottom of their tank making them fun to watch. They can be shy so require lots of plants and rocks to hide behind.
